![]() ![]() anyone ever heard of a crack dealer who bothers with stamp cards or such? They trust in their product to make their customers come back for more, seeing as it is addictive as hell, and really the same goes for Overwatch. I'm not opposed to any kind of BF'esque system per se (though locking actual balance-related abilities behind progression, which then can be outright bought is totally tbh), but to me - outside of real RPGs - that always seemed like a sign of lacking faith in one's own product. If a game gives you an 'unlock'-progression system, that will keep you playing for a long, long time, it might be that the designers felt, that the gameplay itself was not compelling enough to keep folks around. There is nothing more to it, because that is all there has to be to it, it's what games are supposed to be like. What else is there to say? Get a bunch of friends together, put on your headsets and play away. ![]()
